Found this posted on FB. Not sure who wrote it but worth knowing how religion and fear really have infiltrated America through changes to the original constitution.
Great piece of history here... and, I think it shows how all social institutions (e.g., organized religion), in the 21st century, are going to have to seriously re-evaluate "why" they need to have people so afraid for them to function and have control... this is really a major social problem that affects everyone... I am not alone in saying, we need our social institutions to "mature" and grow free of their attachment to using excess fear production as a major motivator in shaping societies. True health, growth and development that is sustainable toward a sane future is founded on the path of fearlessness. At least, that's my workable hypothesis...
