I made this poster to re-invigorate the work I did in the late 1990s on conflict theory and pedagogy, and a book (cover in the background) I was supposed to get translated on pedagogy of conflict, and then I took a student of Paulo Freire's (i.e., Peter McLaren who wrote an endorsement for my book with Subba in 2016)--all combined, I find McLaren's cautionary words powerful and memorable--now, we have to do the work to see what he meant by "new species of fear" and if there is some qualities inherent in capitalism that breed this (?)
