One of my favorite integral thinkers/theorists/artists, is the American psychiatrist-futurist and cultural thinker, Charles M. Johnston. I was reading his first work in the mid-1980s... and he is still going strong with his latest version of "cultural maturity"--how to recognize it and how to develop it.
I love the cartoon of him at his desk.
