This short video, and more importantly the article with it (in Rollingstone magazine recently) tell a good deal of the dynamics of a "culture of fear" or an "age of fear" -- albeit, I am critical of its psychological focus mostly but with some good additions from social psychology (e.g., terror management theory)... of course, no mention of fearlessness theory or fearism theory
