I found this pic recently of my mom and I. She greatly influenced my rebellious-self and only much later in life did I realize she influenced also my traumatized-self ... it led me on a path of healing and liberation, which unfortunately, she could not undertake. It is core to my life-purpose to undermine the negative impacts of violence, oppression, trauma ... and yes, Fear. Mother's and their history play a very crucial role in development, especially of young boys (me).
