Barbara just found this for me, and passed it on. It is rather profound and uncanny that some 4 years ago on of my favorite psychoanalytical-artistic theorists (and practitioners) Bracha L. Ettinger was talking about her influences re: "matrixial theory" on the making of The Matrix sci-fi trilogy (1999-2003)--as, I myself did a dissertation using The Matrix meta-narrative to construct a visionary experience (through a play movie script) of the 'Fear' Matrix (aka "culture of fear")... in my dissertation I took on bringing out the "feminine" and re-constructed quite a different approach to The Matrix (and this was before the discovery of Ettinger's work on the feminine transubjective)... anyways, I'm looking forward to trying to find this discussion, and would love to see what Ettinger says about this film, and/or if in fact her work influenced The Wachowski's who wrote and made the film (albeit, there is controversy that they stole the plot from another writer)...
