I have once again been amazed and challenged by reading this great Canadian philosopher on fear. There is no one like him who has such original phenomenological and theoretical nuance and depth when it comes to understanding the everyday ontogentics and politics of fear (and fear as ontology), especially in N.A., and especially in post-9/11 (postmodern) era. I think he is essential reading for any budding fearologist, and I hope he continues to publish on the topic. He really makes me think and I feel he is "right on" with so many of his brilliant insights and unique way of understanding "fear."
