Here is a good short video on Paul Vrilio's postmodern philosophy, with a Christian humanist lens, as summarized by John David Ebert, a philosopher himself, and what is great near the end of this video is the talk about Vrilio's newer book "Administration of Fear"  and how the fast pacing technoglobalizing sattelizing world today is being administered and controlled by fear-punishment regimes (something, the philosopher Michel Foucault would easily have concurred with)--all a phenomenon I once labeled a decade ago in my art show exhibition "The Fearology of Technology" .... the role of the artist in this video, based on Vrilio's philosophy is well worth looking at (see also Art and Fear, another book by Vrilio).
