Something happened in 2014 (+ or - a year), according to social psychologist, Jonathan Haidt.
This talk at University of British Columbia is interesting because especially the diagram he put up on slide in the first few minutes of his talk. (my take: Discover Mode = fearlessness and Defend Mode = fear). Let's start there with human motivation and see where Haidt, at least, takes this....
