I made this collage as part of the Platinum 'Fear' Plat du Jour exhibition during 2002 as part of my dissertation of 'recording' art-i-facts from the culture of fear and how it tries to cope and manage excessive fear ('fear') by all kinds of means... the feminist critique of how to relate to fear I find interesting but also confused at times and a common way of managing fear is to exaggerate their 'toughness' as typically men and boys do... "fearless" in popular culture and beyond became part of the fourth wave feminism(s)...
