These letters (lines) = an image (in Hebrew) which in English transl. is "Fear" ...
I love how this fresh look at fear, across languages, across species, across worlds... it so seems and yet it is all at the touch of my finger tips and manipulations (as an artist)-- in creating this total image you see, which includes the back of one of my books and a very interesting quote on the power of the word--that is, the recognized word--and, how that is both a blessing and curse to actually finding out the reality of what it is we are signifying and making meaning of using words... yes, the ever-interesting and problematic notion of word-power, and knowledge/power
I think a good fearanalysis ought to engage these visual-aesthetic transformations of words, letters, language-- especially, in the study of fear. What do you think?
