The "Fear has no place" hashtag, declaration, protest... of 2018, is reminiscent of the "No Fear!" slogandia and declaration that youth picked up and rolled with in the 1990s in the USA... the focus may be different now but the impulse is still the spirit of fearlessness; the downside, is that the rhetoric of this new movement is not nearly articulate enough of its own problems in declaring "Fear has no place" .... I'll be writing my critique and 'corrective' to this positioning of the populism that has been sweeping through much of the developed parts of the world... youth initiated, in basic protest to "gun laws" in America...
