Dresden (WWII): Sign of Fear

I can't help but connect with the 'sign' of Fear vs. 'sign' of Fearlessness in this photo (anonymous) taken some time after the great bombing of Dresden, Germany (post-WWII) as part of the attempt to stop the Nazi's... and I think of Albert Camus's dictum: "the twentieth century, a century of fear" (and what of the 21st century... a century of terrorism?)...
