I am both a critic of binary juxtapositions of worldviews or paradigms (e.g. Four Arrows and his Western vs. Indigenous, or here Berman's Mechanical vs. Organic)... that's a longer argument, and some of you will know that I have used the Fear vs. Love juxtaposition at times, and I have also found other ways to work with this more dialectically without the tendency to binary absolutisms of Bad way vs. Good way and other tendencies in that discourse formation to create moralism... as holism philosophy often does (which critical integral theory would critique from various perspectives)... yet, this will all take me time to unfold, and I look forward to reading Four Arrows' new book to see how he constructs a case for this all...
