What a find, an evocative object ... an original art work by artist William Kentridge (b. 1955), entitled "A Natural History of Fear" (ink on paper, in a book, produced in 2011).
Wow... would I ever love to hear Kentridge's interpretation of this art and/or some art historian... it is especially interesting that a "dove" is what appears to be the bird image, painted in black and not the stereotypical white (i.e., as in the symbol of peace). Very cool...
