I have a basic question for all of you now 82 FM ning members... after you have browsed through hundreds of posts and pictures and discussions (if you have) on the FM ning-- I would like to hear your views and suggestions for advancing the world's knowledge on fear and fearlessness. That's a practical move, and action for us to consider. I'd like to hear that conversation here on the FM ning in the next year... next days.
Looking forward to it...

These are excellent points Dr Fisher and OAK.
The study and implementation of fear management skills is a bit of an isolated one because this process (in healthcare at least) typically demands a lot of individual soul-searching and the coaxing for individuals to cultivate the ability to push through vulnerabilities and reservations in order to tackle and overcome fears/anxieties in the healthcare settings. Thus, many fearologists may initially find that the masses do not initially engage with these theories in a populous and viral format. However, We must remember that Standing alone requires the efficient practice of “fear management”. In a rapid technological advancing world where many are trapped by perceived or real fears, study of fearism is very much needed to help citizens in various societies live fearless lives and exhibit calmness for tranquility in various settings in life.
I am excited to be a part of this forum and look forward to participating in any suggested format of discussion to help advance this fearless movement that is needed more than ever before.
Thank you once more Dr Fisher for accepting forum invitation request.
Thank you OAK and Prof Desh Subba for the referral
Thanks for this input OAK. If some more people are interested, indeed, let's do a Skype chat to discuss things you bring forth. Keep in mind I have 30 years experience in attempting to build infrastructures of sustainability in terms of financial and membership-based for this work and so far nothing (despite people's enthusiasm) tends to hold and stick and it is likely because the topic matter (fearlessness, fearology, fearism) is not 'marketable' plain and simple--at least, not yet. TAFFD's or other ventures may have more traction because they are diversified, less specialized is my guess.
I think, life is stage by stage. This evolve a la reality of the moment, age and energy. There are things u can not do now. The best u can do is strategic planning, curriculum development, advising, reconstructing etc. You are like a father of the house. We can't be here for you to stress much, we have the flexible penetration skills.
Fearism is marketable. Many persons met me to start up an institution. My report is, I can't do it without Desh and Fisher. We are heading somewhere and I gave Fearism Study Center a page of advert in the TAFFD's Magazine. The Magazine is very solid that many investors are interested in it.
We can do it, let's make it happen.
Thanks
OAK
Hello and greetings sir,
I was one of the proactive members of this forum. I think I have suggested that we in the age of techno-scientific awareness. I have been a very busy person recently, attending courses and learning how things work in the 21st Century collaborating with internet gurus.
The optimization level of our platform is low because it's a digital connection with socials that are not well-rooted. We need to make use of WordPress, or look for an expert who can link all the post so that once anything is posted it reflect on LinkedIn, Facebook, Tweeter and Instagram.
That said, we need to be discussing some of our topics on air. I suggest that Dr. Fisher should be able to invite some Fearism thinkers and other academics and discuss with them using Skype. He can record as Podcast or video. With this, people know us.
We have an Institute, TFI I will also suggest how it should be programmed. We can do all these and we make money to keep it running. We can attract investors and even make scripts for Fearism movies to keep the people at home with what we do.
Any organization that doesn't think about growth fails due to the lack of funding. Have we thought of having our digital publishing right and partnering with Amazon for hardcopy on demand. These are possible. A case study is what I was able to integrate with TAFFD's taffds.org (pls check the about and store).
Let's have a Skype meeting and think about how to develop this our great body. Let's elect a board of directors, or executive body of this group so that they shoulder responsibilities. We need to make it happen and we can.
Best Regards
