  • Great piece of history here... and, I think it shows how all social institutions (e.g., organized religion), in the 21st century, are going to have to seriously re-evaluate "why" they need to have people so afraid for them to function and have control... this is really a major social problem that affects everyone... I am not alone in saying, we need our social institutions to "mature" and grow free of their attachment to using excess fear production as a major motivator in shaping societies. True health, growth and development that is sustainable toward a sane future is founded on the path of fearlessness. At least, that's my workable hypothesis...
