In an earlier interview I did with eco-social activist Mark Satin, we discussed the impact of fear on grassroots liberation movements and how they can so easily become distorted; see Satin's new book "Up From Socialism" (2023).
In this interview on a different podcast than one of my own, Derrick Jensen speaks out his truths and his opening remarks about being a [post-humanist] critic of humans for several millenia, and what has happened to liberation politics like the LEFT, one is brought up to date with the conflicts going on and a very precarious future. He talks about why young people are killing themselves as well. Of course, one has to ask how "fear" is playing a huge role in this tragedy.
