For a more detailed and advanced treatment of Fear Management Systems Theory go to Fisher (2010).

Addendum: Just to be clear: no matter how important and fascinated I am by "Integral Theory" and all its possibilities, and even a follower of Ken Wilber's work for 40 years, there is no necessity in that dedication to good theory and philosophy that I agree with all of Wilber's conclusions he draws in terms of certain issues (e.g., feminine, feminist, women, and generalizations on Indigenous societies and cultures)--although, I think everyone could benefit from considering the integral lens in their analysis of reality, human nature, human condition, human potential.

I have studied this film in great detail over and over. I am convinced that I and a team of people could create an equivalent documentary and presentation (like Gore's) to take to the world to talk about the fundamental EGO Problem = Fear Problem ...

I'll let your imagination carry away with how and why I have designed this adaptation of the DVD cover the way I have. Hint: I am using Ken Wilber's EGO and ECO Camp designations and metaphysical theory (a la integral).

Suffice it to say, a 'new' energy and imaginary, a new production and educational project on the nature and role of fear ('fear') is required in the early 21st century to keep us from destroying everything... A balance of EGO and ECO analysis and critique (as well as education) is being called for today.
