Beautiful looking gentle man
Born for a purpose
Surrounded by means
Looking courageous but,
Deep down within him,
There is a beast which policies him around

How can a full grown man
Allow himself to be policed?
Men are known to be strong
What is this?
That perplexes the man?

Man is what he is
Because of free will
That which polices man
Must have a strong impact on his existence
It's placed in man's rationale
Must be dangerous
What if man troubleshoots it with the will?

Can the will fight it?
This being is emotive
It is always at war with the will
Disrupting man’s decision making organ
Is always an ideal for the being.

Is that not an attempt of
Turning man into a barber’s chair
An attempt to direct man’s act
Since this being is disrupting
Mans decision making organ,
It is not for man

This being is no other
But a penetrator
And pock noser
Into man's privacy
This intruder is no other than fear
It is a wicked beast.

  • I love the poetic play and interesting metaphors (like "Turning man into a barber's chair")... and I think utilizing such artistic means is helpful to us learning to tell our stories, individually and collectively, in terms of our relationship to Fear ... and, what may a "wicked beast" have to tell us, because we are, in most cases, the creators of our own 'monsters' (shadows) are we not?

    • Actually, the premise that, fear is, means it is conceivable. The mind creates it. We are the creator of our fears
