Why fear?
Groaning within you,
Is love relative?
When the heart is longing
Pumping for a sweet smell of desire
Affirming that you are the one, but
You give countless numbers of reasons why you are not.
Your “fearuality” makes me smile
When did age become a yardstick for love?
If yes, our spiritual beings wouldn’t have loved us.
Should love be bracketed?
When you go for what you desire,
Discouragement becomes a moral exultation
Unsecured love
A delusion of the highest order
A belief that anything can happen
A sentiment the one is a means
Not an end.
Ahaaa! O yes!
You scribally told me how much you love me,
In practice, you discourage me,
Referring me to another for pleasure and time,
Where went my lady
Hahahaha! Lady’s and love
You said distance is a barrier.
I think we can bridge it.
Building bridges,
Is the work of humans?
To close every gap is our responsibility.
The God who distanced us
Made us know ourselves
There is a meaning in knowing
Why not name and necessitate
Make your reference a referent
Go for your goal
Kill your fears
Heal the wound that bleeds
People must talk
But can’t live your life
Only do what is right
I love you, it’s indisputable
Love is, there is no class when it comes to love.

Kalu, I'm so glad you know the difference between "desire" and what it ends up when it is hurt and neglected, dismissed and betrayed... in my own theorizing: it seems we have come to be so afraid of "desire" (as many postmodern critics are also writing about)-- a disaster when Eros become Phobos ... and all hell breaks loose... and all we can see is human "need" as the diminuitive and defended priority, while desire remains more and more invisible and demeaned, and forgotten... so, then what becomes of "Love" .... ?
Your poetics is enlightening my friend... hope you write a book with your poems ... I"m sure you will....
